Marie Antoinette's Sky

December sun’s waning, sky
Anachronistically lit up like a spilt Easter basket
Cerulean to cyan satin smeared with platinum and pink
Dusky rose rays melting mirrored branches
The decadence of Marie Antoinette
cast to the eyes by a faerie queen
